Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDNA LOUISE HODGSON After a lengthy and brave fight with cancer, Mrs. Edna Louise Hodgson died peacefully at her Armstrong residence on Saturday, July 1, 2000. Born at Fort William, ON on Tuesday, February 10, 1920, Edna lived in Winnipeg, Richmond, Summerland and Vernon before moving to Armstrong. A registered nurse, she retired in 1969. Edna enjoyed family and was active in her church, the Order of Eastern Star, the Hospice and Cancer Societies. Predeceased by her husband Robert in 1997 she is survived by her loving family, three sons, Al (Kathie) of Armstrong, Bruce (Darlene) of Delta and Dave (Devereux) of Maple Ridge; four grandchildren, Adam and Amanda, Matthew and Annalae; two brothers, Lloyd and Rusty Pattyson, both of Thunder Bay; nieces, nephews and extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church, Vernon, BC, 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 5. Rev. Ed Milne officiating. Cremation. Following the service a reception will be held at the church. Donations in Ednas memory may be made to the Hospice Society or Canadian Cancer Fund.
